Mazda London Triathlon

1500m swim, 40km bike and 10km run… it's certainly a gruelling race. Once again, a huge number of people will be taking part in the London Triathlon at the ExCeL centre, London.

The bike courses all benefit from road closures – a rarity in central London, allowing competitors to race on traffic free roads.
Mazda London Triathlon Race Schedule

The Triathlon is divided into several categories to ensure you'll compete against people of similar age and ability.

As well as the Olympic course (1500m Swim/40km Bike/10km Run), the Mazda London Triathlon offers a range of shorter triathlons so that everyone can get involved.

Participants can enter as individuals or as part of a team relay (each team member completes one leg of the race).

The approximate race schedule is as follows:

* Super Sprint events (400m Swim/10km Bike/2.5km run): 1 Aug
* Sprint Events (750m Swim/20km Bike/5km Run): 1 Aug
* Olympic Team Relay (1500m Swim/40km Bike/10km Run): 1 Aug
* Olympic Individuals (1500m Swim/40km Bike/10km Run): 2 Aug
* Olympic Elites – for those who have previously completed a sub 2h30 Olympic distance – (1500m Swim/40km Bike/10km Run): 2 Aug

Mazda London Triathlon Expo at ExCeL

The Mazda London Triathlon Expo takes place around the finish line of the Triathlon Race. Here you can find specialist exhibitors from the cycling, running and swimming world.

The Expo is free, so even if you aren't competing and simply wish to watch the race or learn more about getting fit, the Expo is the ideal place to be.
Mazda London Triathlon Expo Highlights

Relax with a coffee in the Sprint Café, watch coverage and interviews on the LED Screen, and listen to Triathlon experts in the Seminar Theatre; this is the total triathlon spectator experience.

In addition, you can update your kit with the latest products, have your swim technique analysed by expert swim coaches and get expert nutritional advice.

Plus, there's the chance to see the elite winners' award presentation and, of course, witness the emotion of thousands of athletes as they come down the final straight and cross the finish line.
